A booking line that always answers
Takes reservations, answers questions about hours and the menu, and passes anything unusual to the team.
AI
Most businesses have a few jobs that eat hours every week. Tell us yours. We'll build a working demo first, then run the real thing for you on a simple monthly plan.
A phone chat in which an AI assistant answers a customer's question about a nut-free cake and takes a pre-order.
A phone job list for a field crew's day, with the customer told the arrival time and an invoice sent for a finished job.
A front-desk inbox where overnight messages have been sorted, with routine requests handled and one flagged for a call.
A salon's day calendar with bookings across three chairs, a cancelled slot filled from the waitlist, and reminders sent.
A shop dashboard combining in-store and online orders, with questions answered by AI and a low-stock reorder alert.
An incoming supplier invoice read automatically, with the key details pulled out and the file sent to the right client folder.
Some problems need a solid piece of software. Some are a good fit for AI. Most need a bit of both, and we'll tell you which.
A fast site that explains what you do and lets customers book, order, or ask a question without picking up the phone.
Swap the spreadsheet everyone is afraid to touch for a simple tool your team actually likes using.
Get the tools you already pay for talking to each other, so nobody types the same order in twice.
Answers common questions day and night, catches enquiries that would slip through, and hands the tricky ones to you.
Reads invoices, forms, and emails, pulls out what matters, and files it where it belongs.
Adds drafting, summarising, or search to software you already use, only where it genuinely saves time.
Most small businesses run on a handful of apps that don't talk to each other, with people copying details between them. We connect them into one workflow, so an order, booking, or enquiry moves through your business on its own.
Excel or Google Sheets fills itself in. No more copying orders across by hand.
Automatic SMS confirmations and reminders cut no-shows, and replies update your calendar.
Finished jobs turn into invoices in your accounting software, ready to check and send.
These are just examples. If a task happens every week, the result can land wherever it's useful to you: a summary in your inbox, an order to a supplier, a label at the printer. Tell us yours.

Don't see your business? The same patterns work almost everywhere.
Book a free consultBuilding a first version of software is faster and cheaper than it has ever been. So you don't have to buy on a promise: we build a working demo first, and you decide from there.
A relaxed call about how your business runs and where the hours go. No prep, no jargon.
We build a working demo around your real workflow, so you can click through it and see whether it helps.
If it's right, it goes live on one simple monthly plan, instead of a big upfront project fee.
Hosting, fixes, and updates are handled. As your business changes, the software changes with it.
Two recent projects, with real numbers, and AI doing real work in both.
Case 01 · Real-time alerts · Gasda Software
Insurance adjusters race to fire and EMS scenes across the US and Canada. The platform meant to alert them was inherited untested and stuck before launch.
Tommy led it to production in five months, then built the pipeline behind it: live dispatch radio is transcribed on in-house GPUs, filtered and clustered, and an AI model reconstructs the incidents, flagging likely ones before a dispatcher logs them.
Case 02 · Tax & onboarding forms · Client project
Every new employee meant printing tax and onboarding forms, filling them in by hand, then typing the details back into the system and filing the paper.
We built a tablet app that replaced all of it. New hires fill in their forms on a tablet, OCR reads their ID card and fills in the details for them, and every finished form is stored and searchable in seconds.
hey31m is led by Seungjoon “Tommy” Lee, a software engineer based in Los Angeles. We build software and AI tools for small businesses, and you work with Tommy directly.
Tommy is also a senior engineer on a real-time platform that turns live emergency radio into alerts for thousands of users, and has built storefronts, internal tools, and apps for agencies, startups, and clients of hey31m.
Before software, Tommy spent six years running concerts and tours, juggling budgets, vendors, and long days on site. It's why we care less about clever technology and more about whether something actually saves you time.

We talk through how your business runs and what's taking up your time. If there's something worth building, we'll say so, and if there isn't, we'll say that too.
It's a working first version of the idea, built around your real workflow, so you can click through it and judge it for yourself. It's part of the free consult. You only pay if you decide to go ahead.
Instead of a large upfront project fee, you pay one monthly price that covers building the tool, hosting it, and keeping it running. The price depends on the size of the project, and you'll know it before anything goes live.
You do. Your data stays yours, and you can ask for a full export at any time. How the code itself is licensed is agreed in writing before anything goes live.
No. Plenty of problems are better solved with ordinary software. We only suggest AI where it clearly earns its place.
Usually, yes, and that's often the best place to start. We'd rather connect the tools you already know than ask you to replace them.
Yes. Consults, demos, and support all happen remotely, so location doesn't matter.
Tell us what you'd like to stop doing by hand. We'll come back with an honest take and, if it's a fit, a working demo.
